Wells Fargo and Pamplin Finance are again partnering to deliver a two week externship experience aimed at providing students a real-world program that covers many of the most important and intriguing topics in banking and finance. This is an exceptional program for students looking to expand their understanding of portfolio management, financial planning, private wealth management, and asset strategies.

The practicum includes company visits, cultural sites, and interaction with Wells Fargo executives.

Students will take one week of class in Blacksburg and then spend one week in Charlotte at Wells Fargo. Student will attend meetings with senior-level management from all areas of the bank. Any student currently in or thinking of pursuing the CFP track, CFA track, or financial services track would really find value in this program. Where else could you get a 30-hour program on every aspect of private banking, taught by seasoned professionals, at no cost to you?

The externship is limited to 20 attendees and a competitive selection process will be used to determine the participants.
