Description
This winter, join fellow VT and Jordanian students in various service-learning projects in Jordan! You will experience firsthand the culture, politics, religion, and Syrian refugee issues of the Middle East region.  More specifically, you will visit Syrian refugee families at their home to help the refugees build resilience and sustain their social life.  You will also engage in thematic lectures and panel discussions on causes of conflict, refugee crisis, women's rights, and Arab extremism.  Please join the program to practice Ut Prosim and change the way you see the world!

Program fee
Estimated program fee is $3,100 for students. The fee includes lodging, some meals, travel medical and emergency insurance, excursion fees, and ground transportation.  Virginia Tech tuition and fees, airfare, entry visa fee and ticket costs to Petra and any other personal expenses (e.g., souvenirs) are not included in the program fee. (estimated total $5,200)
